Hello angels! It’s been a while since I’ve done a fairytale themed post since I’ve been so focused on cruelty free beauty lately, but have no fear, no matter what else I branch into, fairytales will always be my first love.
Welcome to Once Upon a Dream, fairytale edition! Since I have centered an entire blog around my love for fairytales, you’ve probably already guessed that a fairytale themed post would eventually surface in this series. This edition of Once Upon a Dream is called “The Princess Relaxes”, and I hope it gives you some ideas on how to have a night of luxurious pampering and relaxation, all while envisioning being pampered in your very own palace (a girl can dream, right?)
Unpopular opinion: I like books much more than movies. For me, there’s just something about books that can transport you in a way that movies can’t. However, just because reading is my favorite way to travel to faraway places, that doesn’t mean I don’t like being transported through film as well!
Once Upon a Dream is a nighttime pamper routine series where each post will center around a different theme/location. For some posts, we may will escape to a dreamy night in Paris, others, a quiet evening walk through an woodland forest. My goal for this series is to give you different ways to relax and wind down while feeling like you've traveled without even having to leave your bedroom.
Today, I will be launching a brand new series on this blog called Between the Pages where I will be reviewing some of my favorite books. I have been reviewing books on Goodreads for a while so this is something that I am excited to incorporate into the blog as well.
We all know the story of the twelve dancing princesses. But what if what we know isn’t the REAL story? That’s where The Thirteenth Princess by indie author Nina Clare comes in. In the kingdom of Cataluna, order and symmetry are everything.
